Description

A Directing Intensive class with Wilma Theater Co-Artistic Director Morgan Green (Fat Ham, School Pictures, Eternal Life Part 1).

When you are developing and directing a new play, you are “world building” alongside a playwright. In this one-day Directing Intensive, we will approach a scene from Eternal Life Part 1 by Nathan Alan Davis, a world premiere at the Wilma this spring, and explore the wildly different ways it could manifest.

With director as lead investigator, this workshop will ask participants to create and respond to work on their feet, and collectively reflect on the result.

All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to attend, as the class will build upon basic concepts.
